At Uroxsys, we relish a challenge and enjoy applying our expertise to both new and existing markets. Over the years we’ve completed bespoke developments for a variety of customers across many diverse applications. From polymer modified bitumen, rapid cure potting compounds for electrical componentry, liquid applied UV shield window treatments, coil coatings and heat cured tackifier resins used in the oil drilling industry to name a small number.  

We have found a specific niche, where a chemical solution is needed for an engineering problem. Uroxsys can provide this with our unique ability to formulate the product characteristics required to solve a complex challenge, with our control of the polymer design. Where a customer is validating samples, we rapidly respond to feedback, progressively refining our formulation until we achieve the desired result.

The Uroxsys development team have a high degree of hands-on practicality which allows us to initially understand all the parameters that need consideration when solving a problem, then offer ongoing service around product use, process control and equipment advice.

Our process generally involves Uroxsys developing then supplying the technology to the customer, who either uses it themselves or markets under their own branding. While we don’t regard ourselves as ‘hired guns’, we are open to wider opportunities such as formulation development, then licensing.
